Abstract Submission
The Kuwait Urology Board, in collaboration with the Kuwait Society of Urology under the Kuwait Association of Surgeons and the Kuwait Urological Association, announces the 1st Gulf Urology Residents Research Conference and 3rd Kuwait Urology Board Research Day, taking place on Thursday January 21st 2027 in conjunction with the International Neuro-urology Society 2027 congress in Kuwait.
This dedicated research event is designed to showcase the work of urology residents and residency-hopefuls across the Gulf region.
- Keynote lectures and practical workshops for trainees.
- Oral presentations, moderated posters and scientific poster sessions.
- International keynote speakers and a scientific judging panel.

Who Can Participate
Participations must be presented by a current fellow, resident, or residency-hopeful junior doctor, provided the research topic pertains to a urological specialty.
Eligibility and Review
- Abstracts are assessed on topic relevance, structure and scientific content.
- Clinical studies, including case series, may be assigned as oral or poster presentations after committee review.
- Case reports, if accepted, will be presented in a moderated poster exhibition.
- Basic science research will not be entertained.

Submission Guidelines
- A maximum of 300 words is permitted; titles and author names are excluded from the count.
- One table is allowed per abstract and counts as 50 words toward the word limit.
- No figures are allowed in the abstract submissions.
- The methods section should include the type of statistical analysis used, where applicable.
- Statements such as “Results will be discussed” are not acceptable and may lead to rejection.
